To Our New Neighbors

TO OUR NEW NEIGHBORS

Whether you are a refugee, immigrant, or a resident from another country, we’re glad you are here! West Michigan is a great community and it is becoming better because of you.

But we can’t imagine the changes and challenges you face in this new place. That’s why the West Michigan Friendship Center is here! The Center is a place for you to find help: connecting to your own culture and the American culture, taking classes, and finding resources. We also offer hope. We want to help you belong, to succeed, to enjoy your new home.

So we provide practical help for life here and hope for a better future. Find out more on the website. Click:

To our West Michigan community:

West Michigan is a great place to live and it is becoming better as we welcome refugees and immigrants from around the world.

But put yourself in their shoes. Imagine being uprooted from your familiar home to a new, unfamiliar place. What would you need?

That’s why the West Michigan Friendship Center exists: to offer help and hope to our new neighbors through community, classes, and resources. This is our opportunity and responsibility: to be a caring community to our new friends. If you believe that, you can help. Find out more on the website. Click:
